There are three status designations in Worktango.

  • Active – for employees whom you wish to be available in Worktango.

    • Active employees are searchable, can send and receive points (of any kind), and can access their accounts at will.

  • Paused – for employees who are still employed, but not on active status.

    • Common uses include leaves of absence and seasonal employment.

    • Inactive employees are not visible in searches for user, they can’t access their accounts (until they are made active again), and they cannot give or receive points of any kind– including points assigned during point refreshes, or auto-award points.

    • Being made Inactive does not cancel any pending redemptions.

  • Archive – for terminated employees.

    • Their records are available for viewing by an admin, but the profiles aren’t visible to other users (not searchable), they can’t access their account (so no redemptions or sending points) and employees can’t send them points.

    • They are never included in point refreshes.
